We are looking for patients with active cutaneous (skin) sarcoidosis (annular or plaque)
who are willing to participate in a double-blinded placebo controlled study of
the effectiveness of topical tacrolimus treatment. The length of the study would be two
months and patients would be monitored by board certified dermatologists for
improvement of the skin lesions. Tacrolimus has been proven safe and effective in the
treatment of atopic dermatitis (eczema) and its efficacy in the treatment of sarcoidosis
should be investigated.
